Meet Tara
Hi, I'm Tara — the farmer, maker, and heart behind Homestead Harvest. But this business didn't start with a business plan. It started with my own health.
After facing my own health challenges, I started paying close attention to something most of us never think about: what we put on our skin gets absorbed into our bodies, just like what we eat. That realization changed everything for me. I dove deep — earning my certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach in 2021, followed by a Plant-Based Cooking & Diet certification in 2022. The more I learned, the more I understood that real wellness starts with what's actually in the things you use every day.
I couldn't find everything I wanted — so I started making it myself. That's how Homestead Harvest was born. Six acres in Lithia, Florida, two hands, and an unwavering belief that clean, real ingredients matter. Everything I make is something I use myself and give to the people I love.

Life on the Farm
Our 6-acre Florida homestead is home to chickens, goats, turkeys, and more. Every animal is raised with love and care.
Our Chicken Flock
40-50 free-range chickens including Rhode Island Reds, Americanas, Plymouth Barred Rocks, Silkies, Leghorns, and more. They give us 14 dozen fresh eggs every week.
Our Goats
Our friendly goats are a beloved part of the homestead. With their curious personalities and striking blue eyes, they bring joy to every day on the farm.
Our Turkeys
Our turkeys roam freely across the property, living their best life alongside the rest of the flock. They're a proud part of our homestead family.
Baby Chicks
There's nothing quite like watching new life on the farm. Our baby chicks are a reminder of the beautiful cycle of homestead living.
